(Case study / 2026)
Identity · Web
An independent label that had outgrown its first logo. We rebuilt the identity around sound you can see, and a site that plays like a record shop.

(Challenge)
Tidal had ten years of releases and a loyal crowd, but the brand still looked like the first flyer. New listeners couldn't tell the label apart from the artists it signs. The job was to give Tidal a voice of its own without stealing the spotlight from the music.

(Approach)
The identity starts from a single gesture: a wave cut into the wordmark, drawn once and reused at every size, from vinyl labels to a 12-metre festival banner.
The website works like a crate. Each release is a sleeve you flip through, with the record playing as you scroll. Artists can update their own pages without asking anyone.
We shipped in five weeks, together with the label's in-house designer, who now runs the system.
