(Case study / 2025)
Art direction
A tailoring house with a cult following and no images worthy of its cuts. We art-directed a season that finally looks like the clothes feel.

(Challenge)
Ardoise sells through a handful of boutiques and a waiting list. Its photography was shot on the fly, in the studio, under the same light every season. The brief was simple to say and hard to do. Make the garments the hero, and make every season recognisable at a glance.

(Approach)
We cast the season around posture rather than faces, and shot everything against architecture in raw concrete so the cloth carries all the colour.
A single lens, a single height, natural light only. The rule set fits on one page and the in-house team now uses it for every drop.
